This place is great for lunch and dinner. The ribs are amazing and the sauce is great. I tried something new recently and it was awesome! Ask for the cheeseburger with pulled pork added to it. Drizzle some BBQ sauce on it and enjoy! It was incredible!

Surprisingly good 16 oz ribeye. They have steaks on Thursday Friday and Saturday nights. There was a lot of fat and some gristle but overall the meat and the flavor was good And well prepared right on the barbecue grill.
I had essentially given up on eating ribeyes at restaurants in the Jackson area. I can only assure good quality by buying my own and cooking them on the barbecue grill. I have been greatly disappointed at most local restaurants' effort at cooking a ribeye. But I will go back to this place when I want someone else to do the cooking for me. If you order it medium rare like I do, be prepared for almost a cool red inside With a nicely charred outside. Most ladies will prefer to go at least one level up on the cooking time. -

Well, I said I would be back to try some steak. Came back this past weekend and had one on the best restaurant steaks I've had. Ribs were on point as well. I'll ding it like half a star because my potato wasnt all the way cooked, but I was too full on steak and ribs to care...plus I filled up on fried pickles which are awesome by the way. Definitely recommend the weekend steaks here.

We've been patrons of this restaurant for years. It is definitely the best place for bbq ribs and smoked chicken. Smoked brisket is tender and juicy. The potato salad and baked beans are a must. They are the best!! The service is excellent!

Boy, this place hit the spot during a trip to Jackson and the surrounding countryside. The locals took us, and I'm glad they did. Little country kitchen / BBQ hole in the wall with proper country character and a loyal following.
It was packed at lunch time - clearly a popular joint. Good ol small town service with a smile, and boy was she running to keep up with everyone. Adorable, really. It didn't take too long to get our food, though, even with the place hopping.
I went with a pulled BBQ chicken sammich with onion rings and baked beans on the side. The chicken wasn't the best I'd had, but it was good, and BBQ sauce on the tables made me able to BBQ-sauce it to my liking. The onion rings were killer. Delicious. The baked beans were standard - sweet and yummy, but not unique or BBQ-y.
I left full and satisfied, and I'm come here again next time I'm in the area. Solid 4 stars.
